Born in Gothenburg Sweden, now resident in the western part of Sweden.
Master in Fine Arts - Silversmithing and Fine art in Metalwork combined with longer periods in a flute technician trainee program at Muramatsu Flutes, Japan. Johan has returned to Japan frequently since then.
The first workshop was set up 1988 in Gothenburg, Sweden and since then he has held the position as a highly specialized professional flute technician and for a number of years as Muramatsu agent for Sweden with a flute shop in Gothenburg.
The customers are flutists from Scandinavia and some other European countries as well as the orchestras and educational institutions. The new workshop was finished 2017 for the purpose of developing and finalize his flute ideas into production.
Johan is represented with jewellery at the National Museum for Crafts and Design in Sweden: The Röhsska Museum. He has also created a couple of artistic public environmental works and has been awarded with grants from the Swedish authorities, local communities as well as other fund raisers.
He has participated in several exhibitions in Sweden and abroad and has also created silver objects ordered for church and wedding ceremonies.
He has a Master of Science as well as in Education and Leadership.
